Clearing into Croatia after Italy

Italy is a member of the E U and so is Croatia ! - some years ago I cleared out of Croatia before they joined the E U - handed in Cruising Log - Port Police etc Croatia is very strict - we sailed into Venice with Guests on board , who were flying out of Italy and so wanted a arrival stamp etc to avoid problems for my guests - The harbour master / Port Police in Venice refused to see me at all -( 3 x times )- They were not interested . Going the other way will be different - they sometimes require your sailing ticket or you may need to sit a simple exam - very bureaucratic / autocratic and expensive Garth

I have no idea of what you’re referring to. I clear in and out of Croatia 3-4 times per year, and find the customs/immigration officials to be very accomodating, courteous and easy to deal with. The fees are also very modest, but of course you need an ICC boating license if that’s what you’re talking about.

Italy is the same, but no cruising fees.
