clearing out USA of foreign owned NY reg boat

Very specific situation but there must be others like us...

We are two EU citizens with US greencard who own NY reg boat. We plan to leave the US to Bermuda and BVI. Do I need some kind of clearance forms?

I called USCG but they have not heard of anything like that. Big issue: to apply for US citizenship our stay INSIDE the US is important. My wife plans to fly back from BVI and I can only imagine the potential issues when returning to the US.

Has anybody been in this situation?

Thanks!

Arjan

Better to be safe then sorry. Here's what the USCG uses for clearing out.>>>>

Re: clearing out USA of foreign owned NY reg boat

In case other foloks have the same question and this thread pops up on google sometime in the future:
Two sides to the story: customs and immigration. Customs is the form above and a crewlist incl passport numbers. In NYC you go to Pier 88 on the Westside H'way to have it stamped.
Immigration is all about form I 131 (for GC holders). There is no departure stamp, you just leave and 'we have ways to know where you are'.
