Looking for contact details for document agent or marine lawyer to handle private sale /purchase of VAT paid boat in EU waters.
Any info appreciated.

These are not commonly available in Europe unless at super yacht type levels. It’s a very specialised field and tends to be purchase country and flag country specific.


Your best bet is to ask a broker either in the purchase country or the registration country for recommendations.

Thanks, after a day of searching a few countries in EU, I came to the conclusion, doc agent service is really only available for Super Yachts or high net worth individuals.

And yes your suggestion of using no EU or country of origin for doc agent is the best way to go
