finally, I have taken the plunge. It has been long 4 years, but I am happy to have settled on a westsail32.

I have made the deposit.

Am looking for a marine lawyer around Deltaville, Va to help me close the deal and the finer aspects of state register / Delaware.

Or, can a reputed broker suffice for this?

I'm not sure why you would need a lawyer for the sale of a boat any more than you would need a lawyer to buy a car. Do some research and save yourself a ton of money. make the purchase contingent on a survey, hire a surveyor, if he passes the boat, fill out a bill of sale and take it t the local tax office. Chuck
