I personally would leave that statement out. MY X-wife work for Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. many moons ago and she always said that the mere mention of a lawyer and everything stops. Keep in mind that you got hit by a vessel traveling at high speed and you had the right-of-way or whatever they call it there days. Their insurance company will probably be glad to dispose of this little problem since you are not claiming injuries. Just hang in there.
