Navigation lights on Runners

I have noticed a new fad on runners at night.

They wear two lights one on each side, red and green.

Some wear them correctly Red on the "port" side and Green to starboard.

Others have them reversed.

I find it funny when I see it.

Run and sail safely.

Re: Navigation lights on Runners

Me: "Runners? I've never noticed navigation lights on a WaveRunner but if they had any I expect they would be factory installed. Maybe he's talking about putting navigation lights on trailer runners? No. Why would anyone do that? OK. What in the world is this thread about?"

I suppose it says something about me that it never occurred to me that this had anything to do with someone running on land.

It took me a while to click too.

I initially thought "lights on the running backstays?"

Re: Navigation lights on Runners

Come on guys, These are worn by people running along the streets in my neighbor hood in the early morning, The first I saw was a woman, may have been pretty, but it was dark. She had the red light on her left arm and the green on her right.

I thought it was cute, until this morning when I saw two runners, one after another with lights on the wrong side. Green on Left, Red on Right. They weren't running backwards.

Has the CG been notified? Only a question of time before the sheriff tickets.

Without a white light how could you tell which way they were headed?
