Polish yacht registrations are set to expire in 2023

According to the Polish Maritime Act for pleasure crafts under 24 m, which was introduced in 2020, registrations issued by the Polish Sailing Association, prior to the Act, will expire on 31 January 2023.

It concerns the registration with the number "POL XXXXX". The physical appearance of registration certificates is a grey laminated certificate.



These certificates can be converted into the new system, which allows you to keep the old registration number or get a new one issued.

If you are still registered under the old regime, you are advised to have the certificate converted to the new system, as the vessel will otherwise be stateless after 31-1-2023.
