Puerto Rico Boat Registration & Taxes

We have a Canadian registered vessel and would like to spend this hurricaine season in a marina in Puerto Rico. I heard that if a vessel was in PR for more than 60 days it might be registered and sales tax would be due. Is this true? If so, how long would a vessel have to leave before it can reenter and qualify for another 60 days? Any info on up to date regulations would be appreciated.

We had a British registered boat there for 5 months without problems.

However, if a hurricane hits those marinas are marginal for safety and I am told the slots on the hard are all taken.
