Selling SSR Boat in Italy

Hi,

Our current boat is still registered in UK with an SSR. We have decided to sell, in order to buy a boat we can keep in our local marina 200m from our home. If we sell to Italians, do we need to do anything apart from inform SSR we are no longer the registered owners of the boat?

Does anyone know what we have to do to register any new boat in Italy and ensure the paperwork is all legal, if we buy privately. We are currently considering a boat now lying in Slovenia.
