No POCKETS on a shirt, you know how many cell phones the river ate due to my wife placing the phone in her shirt pocket, I even remove my wedding ring when I sail. The one thing I always thought would go over board has not, I used a laptop for Nav for a long time and would set it on the deck but never lost it.

But I would love a shirt with the logo

While on the logo track, some time ago someone mentioned it would be good to have a flag or penant so we could recognise CF people in anchorages etc. That was given short shift but the idea is good because a lot of people sail where we sail and it would be fantastic to recognise them.

I just submitted some final revisions for the logo. I should get the graphics this next week.

I will create some small buttons, banners, links, etc once I have the logo and post a link here to the page where you can get them.

Once I have the logo I will create a Cafe Press store and you can order t-shirts with our without pockets and a bunch of other items.

We are getting bids for burgees as we speak. They will not use our logo as they are designed to be easier to read from afar.

I agree with Hunter. I'm an internet marketing guy. Social networking with sites such as Facebook will get the word out. And you can always filter out folks you don't want. I would gladly sign up as a fan, and I know a bunch of other cruising sailors who would, also. That would keep your name out in front of your target audience and provide a forum for your ideas, information and all those tee shirts you're going to sell.

I have created a facebook page, to join, click this link. You can also see a widget at the very bottom of the home page that will show the members. I plan to find a better place for this widget but for now that was the easiest place. Thanks for the idea and kick in the butt to go get this done!

How about somthing simple like a brushed CF. It could be a good converstaion starter.
