A Marina that Allows DIY and Liveaboard in the Largo / Ft Lauderdale / Bahama Areas

We are looking for a Marina or a berth in the Largo to Ft Lauderdale to Bahamas or BVI areas that will allow us to liveaboard while we fit a radar and make a fibreglass hard top for our catamaran. A place that has some covered work space available with reasonable onshore facilities and that is of course economic! Needed for about 6 weeks later this year. Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.

Reynolds Park Yacht Center

A little farther than you like, but it offers everything you need. Was at one time the mothball fleet facility........i2f

Still north of your area, but not as far as Reynolds Park is the Westland Yard within the Titusville Municipal Marine Basin.

Not sure what you consider reasonable rates but you might wish to further investigate Independant Boatyard on St Thomas. Many people do their own work and live aboard. Covered work space may be challenging, or not, depending on who you make a deal with.

I like Robbies on Stock Island, Key West
The price is right.
