Florida east coast marinas

I’m searching for a marina on the east coast of Florida for the months of November and December. I’ll take either dry storage or wet slip for my 44’ sailboat while we return home up north for the holidays.
I’ve googled and called dozens of places without any luck, hopefully someone knows a hidden gem. Any information is appreciated.

You've got to be kidding.
Try Beach Marina, Palm Cove Marina...both on the ICW in J'ville
I know they have slips available.
Several More Marina's in downtown J'ville.
St.Augustine, just down the road has Comanche Cove and several others.
Daytona has several...
etc..etc..etc

Try at Merritt Island/Canaveral. For a 3 month or more stay you get a much better rate, in the water. Good inexpensive restaurant.
A bit tough getting there though.

Halifax Harbor Marina in Daytona Beach. Safest "hurricane hole" marina in Florida.

If you want your boat hauled out for a period try Tiger Point Marina on Egans Creek in Fernandina, there are plenty of folks that haul there for a period of time. Fernandina also has a big city marina, there is always space there.

St. Johns Marina right across from the US Navy base, on the St. Johns River can also haul you out and store your boat.

I don't know where you've been looking, but there are marina's galore in Florida plus haulout facilities. I havn't even scratched the surface yet of possibilities for you.

Re: Florida east coast marinas

For hauling out: Cape Marina in Cape Canaveral.

Note that you can’t leave your boat in a wet slip in the sea port of Canaveral because it gets evacuated when a hurricane approaches. The marinas beyond the locks are all okay for wet slips.

Cape marina does hurricane strapping.

As an aside. Halifax is my favorite fuel stop in FL.

Re: Florida east coast marinas

Thanks for all the useful information, as I said I’ve been calling Daytona/Halifax/Merritt/ Harbortown etc.. and marinas further south. No luck.
Now I’ll start calling further north until I find wet or dry slip.

Sure you called Cape Marina? I was there a day ago and saw available spots in their yard.

I’m on the waiting list at Cape Marine but they expect any vacancies until the first of the year.
