Marina Chesapeake Bay

Looking for a good marina in the North Eastern Bay for the summer 2017.
I draw 5.5 ft and hit bottom in Tolchester and Worton Creek. Paid $ 2800 for the summer season dockage. Any suggestions?

Re: Marina Chesapeake Bay

Depends on the amenities, service capabilities, & atmosphere you are looking for.
Haven Harbour in Rock Hall is one of the best in the area w/ knowledgable service staff.
Green Point Landing & the Wharf @ Handy's Point are both excellent, no nonsense, dockage.
Various other Rock Hall options.
For a S/V, The Fredericktown marina's on the Sassafras are a motor up there, the advantage is that the water there is consider "fresh".
Langford Bay is always cost effective & has, or is getting new ownership.

Lots of options to suit various needs & desires.

Depending on your needs, we've used Hance's Point YC. It's very North being just South of North East but they have moorings that will accommodate your S/V. Great social and sailing club and probably one of the least expensive.
