Puerto Rico / US Virgin Islands

Any recommendations on Marinas for PR and/or USVI...? Particularly on places for normal mortals, am no fan of taxhaven-type Megayachts. Thanks.

Here is a link to Virgin Island's marinas.:

I can recommend Green Cay Marina in St. Croix, it is almost hurricane proof.

They got a firect hit a few years ago and all the boats survived with only minor or no damage.

There is usually a waiting list of a 2 year or so.

you might like salt river its real laid back low key. the entrance is trickey but not hard once you know it .you can anchor out or use the marina. theres a 5ft hump you have to pass call and ask. jt

The new United States Virgin Islands Marine Guide provides important
information to visitors navigating the waters of the Virgin Islands, including
news of government regulations, marinas, yacht clubs, weather, shopping, dining
and maps of the area. The guides are available throughout the USVI at marinas,
airports, hotels and tourism centers. They also are available in similar
locations in the BVI and PR. For more information about the 2005 Marine Guide,
contact Media Marketing, Inc. at (340) 774-0920, or visit www.vimarineguide.com.
