South Florida Marinas

Just wanted to pass along the state of what used to be called Maule Lake marina and is now loggerhead Club and Marina in North Miami beach. The marina took some major hits after Wilma blew through. Several boats sunk and my own boat (pearson 365) was thrown up bow first onto the dock when the stern pilings snapped. The old pilings are in a sad state of repair and I would not recommend docking here except for on the "B" dock. If you need a relatively quiet safe anchorage close to the marina, anchor out in Maule lake and dinghy in.
