Buccaneer Days Catalina

I'm attending Buccaneer Days in Catalina for the first time this year (sailing over from San Pedro, CA), and I'm trying to figure out what to expect. I've looked at the photos that come up when doing an internet search, and I've watched a few YouTube videos... but if you have been before and have a first-hand account of what goes on, what to expect, things not to miss, and things to avoid, I'd really appreciate the advice!
