I was considering double v belts from the engine to the comperssor? This way I could fill tanks while motoring to the next dive site (surface interval time) . I'm going to set it up with a spring loaded belt tension system so it can be disconnected when I dont need it.
Does anyone see issues doing it this way?

....another reason I want to do it this way is less weight. I dont need an additional engine (or motor and generator) to turn the compressor. I would need a comp that can fill 6 - 80 CFM tanks in an hour. I would save weight by having fewer tanks on board too.
any thoughts?
