Dolphin Tale...inspiring movie !!
I watched this new movie on a plane flight recently. What a great feel good movie....excellent casting...

Everyone with a kid or grandchild should pack them up and go see this movie.

Even those without children will probably enjoy it. I know that I did. Though, part of that is because I am a regular visitor to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and have been following Winter's progress for quite a few years.

As "based on a true story" movies go, this one stays pretty close to reality. Most of their diversions from the truth seem to be reasonable cases of "poetic license" in order to keep the story simple and the movie to an acceptable length.

olphin Tale is inspired by the amazing true story of a brave dolphin and the compassionate strangers who banded together to save her life. Swimming free, a young dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her tail. She is rescued and transported to the Clearwater Marine Hospital, where she is named Winter. But her fight for survival has just begun.

Well, yeah, but... It's the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. They only changed the name to "Hospital" for the movie (and I have no idea why they thought that needed to be changed).
