Hunt and Gather (Food, water, gas, fuel, bits for the boat) and keep in mind you do this in a new and unfamiliar place each day…..
Researching the next destination / planning the next passage
Kite surfing
Ride our bikes around new places
Oh….. and tinkering with the boat.
We’re three months into our first live aboard situation , I brought along a few books to read but haven’t started any of them yet! (Which means I haven’t really been bored yet!)
Cheers
Burls

PS: Oh, and don’t forget the visitors, who have an amazing ability to somehow make your time disappear………

Yes, there is always work to do but we have implemented a 1:8 W:R ratio. 1 hour of work for 8 hours of relaxation.

In reality, the number one thing I can say is that the two of you need to be best friends and really like spending long periods of time together. You can always find things to work on but if you can't kick back and spend an hour watching the sunset, or relax and read for a few hours, or play cards on a rainy day - you are going to be in trouble. There is so much to enjoy, so much to see, so many to meet.

How lucky I think I am to enjoy such a life!
