Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

We just started on at Ronan's Wake | to catalog our adventures. We just purchased our boat and are setting "Ronan" up for cruising. Lots to buy! It makes it difficult to save when you're getting proper gear to keep you safe.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I have created a "blog" where there are collection of sailing and sea related blogs via RSS feed. One place where I can see who has posted something new recently. Many new posts every day. Address is: Travelogue

Thanks Mikhel, that's an awesome feed with a few faces we know very well.

I have trouble getting 'blogspot' blogs to feed to my Yahoo RSS feed, and you seem to have my faves that I couldn't subscirbe to, so thanks

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I've now started putting together a sailing website The Sailboat Fanatics' Favourite Information Resource. Early days yet, but it's coming along. Any comments?

I started this a few days ago to amuse myself on Facebook, posting as my boat as she's being refitted.

I have to agree. As I enjoy all family sailing blogs, this one is the best so far. The photography is professional, the kids are having the time of their lives, I have book marked this one............ smithtribesailing

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

We started a blog four years ago. It was intended to be about our experiences moving from the US down to the Turks and Caicos Islands. Kind of an expat blog.

We didn't intend for it to be a boating blog, per se, but now looking back over 275 posts I realize that the majority of it is boat related. Now that we've bought a catamaran it's probably going to be pretty much a boat blog.

Some of these blogs are pretty awesome. Doing instead of dreaming.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

We have been cruising now for a year. We are currently in southern Mexico waiting out hurricane /rainy season, then off to Central America, Equador, Galopagos, Marqueses. We find most cruisers have boat websites. Ours is through Sailblogs.com and you can start one for free, ours is $35 a year as it is an up grade from the free one. You can vist us at sailblogs.com/member/chrysalis or just google sailbogs and put Chrysalis in the search engine. To all the dreamers, keep dreaming the waters great!

Yours is one of the most impressive builds I've seen. Bravo.
