Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I'm not very good keeping up with my blog, but I try to post about once a month or so.

I usually do not post exactly where I am because of certain un-scrupulous people and reports of kidnappings here in the Philippines. but you are welcome to follow me.

Websites are a great way to show off your boat. Put up pictures of your destinations and cool things you experienced. There are so many pictures from my trips i wish the world could see.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

My blog is Janet Groene's BoatCook It's available online weekly or for Kindle by subscription from Amazon. Each week I post a galley recipe, pantry recipe (no fresh ingredients needed) and bonus recipe plus tips. I've cruised with and without refrigeration and oven, so I try to keep in mind those cruisers who have limited space, fuel, time, water, etc.

Hello Everyone,

We are Ace and Tee. We are newbie sailors traveling the Caribbean. We also have two beautiful puppies, Bailey Sue and Lana del Rey. We have created a Vlog Sailing Baylana, where we share our Good times, Bad times and the Ugly times. Please take a second and check us out at Youtube/Fastlink or search for Sailing Baylana.

Thank you.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I have a website, but it's not strictly about sailing. it's about sailing with youth over the summer. I invite everyone to check it out, and if you think it's worthy, I would be very happy to hear from you....like the facebook page, follow me on twitter and if you think it's worth it, I wouldn't mind a donation into the scholarship fund to help send kids who can't afford to go.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

We strive to "keep it real" by showing not only the beautiful sunsets and clear waters, but also the difficulties that we face on the day to day by cruising on our Beneteau 423 sailboat. We're focusing on the video formats by posting one video per week but we post several blog posts per month as well.

Let us know what you think! Couchsailors - Sailing videos - COUCHSAILORS

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I initially started with a Blog but never did anything with it. I have always been into ocean water sports (mostly surfing and paddling) and bought a GoPro about 10 years ago to capture some of that. It morphed into our boat YouTube channel; link below. I don’t take it very seriously. There is no narration, just the boat, the ocean, and Mother Nature. My friends and family enjoy it and it’s something I can watch when my boating days are over and I am in the proverbial rocking chair.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

As many of you know, Jack and Jude have been publishing blogs since 2007 when we relaunched Banyandah to circumnavigate Australia again.
We run an active website chockers with practical tips and plenty of short stories of adventure, drama, and ones that illustrated our mistakes and their consequences.
If you're thinking of doing this, the fact is, it takes two or three days to complete the process, which we did monthly during our most active years. Writing the blog, finding images and getting them just right, then Jude has her say, so there's another revision before putting the whole thing online.
After that, we produce a newsletter to inform our followers that a new blog is available. Mail Chimp, the free version for under 2000 audience, is great and takes away the challenge of keeping email addresses for so many folks. Something in these times is a must for security.
Being a bit long in the tooth now, we're not so active today. That and Covid and our house flooding last year have over shadowed our desire to share our experiences.
But for us, that's what a blog should be all about. Sharing the knowledge, encouraging, and helping to save planet Earth from the destructive nature of humans. We encourage everyone afloat to speak about the beauty and wonder of Earth and her creatures. To show those not so fortunate how human pollution destroys even the most remote corners of the planet.
We'd love to send you to pursue our website, but do that in a few weeks after a glitch in the coding is ironed out. Cheers, fair winds and safe adventures from Jack and Jude.
