Re: Jacuzzi

Got Billy and Bubba to test it for you.
Secret is to keep water running and eat plenty of beans.

Re: Jacuzzi

On my Ericson it would be easy. Plug the cockpit drain and rout the exhaust water to the cockpit. Might have to relocate shore power though. Click image for larger version

Re: Jacuzzi

Hey, all joking aside, I have a separate bath tub/shower room and my fiberglass tub has sufficient room to install an inexpensive jacuzzi kit. It could only be used when connected to shore power (or running off my Honda generator), but even so......

Re: Jacuzzi

A guy I knew extended a 55 ft motorboat 10 ft so a hot tub could be put on the back deck. The boat was cut apart aft of the cabin and 10 ft of hull molded in....

Oh, oh, oh! I've had a brainstorm!

1. Fill the Jacuzzi and soak in it ourselves until we are prunes.
2. Get out and throw the laundry to bubble.
3. Take the laundry out and toss the dishes in.

Voila! Water savings at it's best and we only need to install one bourgeois device.

P.S. I suppose that we could wash the dog in the tub between steps 1 and 2, but the clothes might smell funny.

Here's how I do it.

1. Eat dinner.
2. Let Jazmin and Max wash the dishes with their tongues.
3. Fill up spa and we jump in with our dinner attire on. Soap up and rinse off.
4. Once every couple of months, Jazmin and Max play in the spa after we're done.

That's how we have to do it here in Socal since just being connected to the system now costs $50/month and water now costs 25 cents/gal.

Here's Jazmin trying to be incognito in the desert; Jazmin, the world futbol champ; Max soaking up sun at the beach; Jazmin at the beach, but disgruntled about the low price tag on her forehead.
