Phuket Charter

Doing a 10 day charter out of Moorings Phuket next month. Any first hand advice on itineraries? Must see / don’t bother. Would like to do several guided dives, recommendations? Eight poeple, very social, prefer to eat ashore. All input appreciated.

Yes we did. Spent 9 nights on a Moorings 4800 with 4 couples. Our favorites were Ko Hong, Southeast side of Ko Yao Noi and Rai Le Beach. Did Tahiti Last year and still think that was a more enjoyable experience. Thai people were very nice, food and drink were very good and very inexpensive. The geography was outstanding and dramatic but was a little disappointed in the hordes of tour boats. Also beach access was difficult to impossible in many places at low tide. The area does not cater to cruisers. Still it was on our bucket list and we have the t-shirts to prove it.
