Reminds me of when I e-mailed a list of things that would be needed to a mate who was looking to buy a first boat........

....I did a typo on the word Warps - for years afterwards he kept calling 'em "Wraps" .

I suspect Salon and Saloon much the same.

It's my understanding that it's spelled 'saloon' but pronounced 'salon'. Don't know why though.
