The Best 'Sailing' Christmas Gift of the Year

Need to get a gift for that sailor who has everything?
Are you, like most of us, a cheap sailor?
Are you a hardwater sailor looking to find a way to fill the time until your boat goes back in the water?
Are you somebody who likes a good story well told?
Do you like pretty pictures and dislike mobos?
Bottom line, have you got 5 friggin' dollars, you cheap bastids?

Subscribe to Keep Turning Left. yeah, the host is a chit disturber who cooks dangerously, but his adventures are entertaining as all hell and prettier than his boat. Hell, you can't even rent "Waterworld" for a fiver, and this is a HELL of a lot more entertaining.
Five. Damn. Dollars. Cheaper than a 6-pack of Shlitz and won't make you piss all night. Now that right there is a quality review.

Keep Turning Left

Reminds me of a crusty powerboater in a marina where we once berthed. He said to me: "You blow boaters come down here on a Friday night with a five-dollar bill in your pocket and a T-shirt on your back, and you don't change either one all weekend.

How true. Cheap bastids, we are.

The best gift we had? An envelope with KD55 (about $180) cash, with a note saying:

"Hope you don't find this cash tacky (we didn't); but what to buy someone who has everything they need to sail off with, and who doesn't need any more 'stuff'? This is to spend at Sakura (our local sushi bar)!
