It might be related to the time of year. Storms are given names in alphabetical order as they come from a list of 21 names. That means the 9th storm of the year, every year, will start with an I.

The article mentions the past 3 storms that helped uncover the boat, all happened in the same month, within weeks of each other, for each year. So, I think the coincidence lies more in the time of year, not so much the name of the storm

Yeah, you are probably right just coincidence. But, I was also thinking of the brush we had here in the northeast with Hurricane Irene:

ALL hurrycanes uncover something!! mostly down here in Hurrycane Alley it's mostly somebodys home !! just sayin the first letter in the name don't mean a thing ! they are ALL BAD !!!

Science Schmience! Our first hurricane experience was Isabella 60 days after buying our sailboat. Then we got whacked by Ivan in Grenada! I'm for outlawing the use of "I" names for hurricanes
