For Sale: 41' Cruising/ Liveaboard Sailboat

Currently lying in Marina Riviera in La Cruz, Jalisco, MX, (Puerto Vallarte). Cruise, or just liveaboard in beautiful anchorages. 41’ Gulfstar, old but in good functioning condition. Reliable, Perkins diesel, very good sails. Comfortably sleeps 5 adults. Solar power system. Needs complete repaint and polish; gelcoat is failing in places.. 1975 hull, splashed ’76, I have owned it, club raced and cruised it since 1983, lived aboard it for about 25 years. Continually cruised it since 2005.

Many spare parts, tools, 2015 Merc OB, and Avon included.

We have gotten too old to use it, and wish to pass it on to someone else who will happily use and care for it. Price $40,000.

Hi, you posted this in general classifieds not boats for sale. Also, if you haven't done so already post this on Facebook marketplace for the area of the boat is in, and also on Craigslist in the area that the boat is located.

Actually since the boat is in Vallarta, advertising in San Diego and LA as well will be local enough.

Don’t over estimate the East coast. Craigslist in The main areas of the east coast may yield benefits. There is a website that helps you do multiple Craigslist options with one message.
Lot of people dread the pass at Panama Canal with all the crew requirements, bind, etc. So an east coast sailor thinking of going to the pacific while the boat is already in the pacific maybe a plus for them
