Hello, what series with this work on I have a brand new system and wonder about comparability

These work on the current systems. It will work with any BD50 or BD35 compressor and probably almost any evaporator plate refer system.

They have resistors in series with the thermostat for large evaporator plates. The resistors can be changed to match the evaporator plate you are using. The resistor determines the speed of the compressor.

Yes. this Adler Barbour thermostat will work on new CU100 and CU200 AB compressors with a small alteration if its compressor speed control resistor needs to be changed. There are two different Adler Barbour thermostats refrigerator temp range and freezer temp range identifiable by R and F in the part numbers. Their compressor speed is determined by the last part numbers example 1500 indicates compressor will run at maximum 3500 RPM. No end number would indicate compressor will run at 2000 RPM. If you are interested in seeing where AB speed resistor is located watch my slide show. If you want this thermostat for use on an older or other type Danfoss BD compressor system cut off the phone 4 pin connector plug at end of wire and use only the two control wires.
