Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with these ultrasonic systems? Do they work?

Apparently they do work well but need a hull made of a material that will allow the sound waves to travel easily, like aluminium. I was told it would not work on my boat - Glass over cedar.

A forum search will turn up several threads discussing them with opinions as to whether or not they work

Only way this could work is if transducers would be attached on outside to glass directly. This way you wouldnt have sandwich affect as wood is soft and absorbs everything.
