BVI Owners Time Catamaran charter in February or March 2023

Owners:

I'm looking to lock-in a beautiful Catamaran for a family Bucket List trip BVI charter in February or March 2023. Right now we have date flexibility. This trip has been delayed two years by COVID.

Bareboat Catamaran - have a captain and 1st mate lined up who we've used before.
Need five cabins (not counting the forward coffin storage bunk)
Likely 50+ ft.
9-10 day charter.
February or March 2023

I'd appreciate any leads to owners from friendly readers.
Thanks.

The folks in the BVI forum at Traveltalk Online are usually quite knowledgeable about charter possibilities, it might behoove you to check there as well to see if you can find a good offer.

Catamarans of that size often come with their own captains. Not sure if the captain you have is a friend acting as a captain or a true captain who you are hiring. Does the captain have any connections? Have you tried the regular cast of characters? Moorings etc.
you could also give Virgin Island charters a call and see what they have.
Good luck

Thanks very much for the leads. It's appreciated.

My family has used this Licensed Captain/1st mate to captain our bareboat charters in Slovenia, BVI (through TMM 2 year ago), and a month ago in Greece (navigate-yachting). It's been a great experience so far.

We look to return to the BVI next Spring.

My Delta pilot neighbor offered me an Owner's Week just as COVID shut everything down so I missed that opportunity. Now he's selling this boat. (my luck)

Just came back from The BVIs for training in the charter fleets. Which charter company are you looking at and what type of boat?

It's been recommended to contact:

1) TMM
2) Conch Charters
a couple others I can't think of right now.

Why? Ideas?

I would recommend Waypoints (formally known as CYOA) - They have very nice yachts and you can bring your own captain. My son works there, so I know the quality of maintenance that they provide to each one of their yachts that they have in their fleet and its really second to none in the USVI's and the BVI's - although they are located on St. Thomas - just in case you would consider going there before you hop over to the BVI's.
