I don't know how old is it, I bought it used and had it as a back up autopilot.

Now the boat is sold, I don't need it anymore.

It’s the older model, but I’m pretty certain it can be upgraded to the new one by CPT, but I don’t know the cost to do so. Call them they are good people to talk to and won’t sell you something you don’t need.

Of course you may not need or want to update it, but the nice thing about a CPT is that you can, it’s not throw it away and buy the new one like most electronics

Since it was a backup and you bought it used, have you recently used or tested it to verify it works?

I tested it more that once during the summer 2016 when I was sailing the maritime provinces in Canada. I sailed back to my home port in Montreal in 2017 and sold the boat in 2018.
