DELCO Starter 24v

We are stuck in Martinique beacuse we have been unable to find a starter for our engine. Searching for a Delco 24volt starter #1113942 or something comparable. This is for a Caterpillar D333 engine. We tried having the starter rebuilt, but it's no good. Called dozens of shops listed in the local boating directory (Ti Ponton) We were quoted 2,000 euro from the one and only place that could order and ship one locally. Wayyyy out of our budget! I know its a really long shot, but if anyone has one for sale or any suggestions on where to find one nearby please reach out! Thanks.

Re: DELCO Starter 24v

They're on ebay for about $370. Says free shipping, but probably not free to Martinique.

Maybe ebay.co.uk would be better.

Thanks for the reply! That is our back up plan if we cannot find one on or around the island in the next couple of days. I wanted to reach out on here first beacuse it's $300 to ship to Martinique and will take 2-3 weeks minimum. Wouldn't care so much about the time frame, but hurricane season is on its way!

Check beerah00@gmail.com for the part, he is a friend of mine and it’s affordable.
