Re: Farryman engine/parts

I have a couple in pieces, one complete but needs cyl sleeve and a Bukh branded DV7 or Farymann 18W in the boat. Older motors were much better built. There are a few part sources around. Entec West uses them for their generators.

Re: Farryman engine/parts

Sorry, can't source the parts you need but have been a Farymann fan for years. Had one in my old Ingrid and loved the sound. It reminded me of my younger days commercial fishing in a small troller powered by an old Easthope that you started by decompressing the engine then throwing the big flywheel on the front around then hitting the compression handle. Started every time!
The old Bowen Island ferry that ran from Horseshoe Bay to Snug Cove on the island had an old Easthope as well and though it had 6-8 cylinders it ran slow enough you could distinguish the sound of each cylinder firing. Ah, the good old days! Phil
