I have had these on all of my last 3 boats and think they’re a great invention. Lighter and easier to manipulate than a spinnaker pole. Variable length that’s controlled at the mast makes it perfect to use with a full or partially furled jib, or with an assymetrical spinnaker. It really settles things down going downwind and prevents the leach from collapsing inward so you can increase boat speed and much more easily control the roll. Yes, I’m a fan!
