Want To Buy: Furuno MFD8 desktop mounting bracket

I have bought a boat that came with a MFD8 in a navpod. I want to go to a surface mount (Furuno calls it a "desktop mount" in a metal u-shape bracket). I know that most of these are flush mount in a panel, and thousands of these brackets have been thrown out. They are no longer available from Furuno. Does anyone have one in the basement someplace?

It would be pretty easy to drill and bend some aluminum flat stock into the U-shape of the bracket. It isn't anything fancy.
