For Sale: Furuno Robertson Simrad

Replaced our old Furuno green screen radar a while back. Replaced the Simrad Robertson AP-20. These items are available to anyone needing to keep their floating museum antiques operating. Working when removed from the boat.

Do you have the AP20 control head (I don't see any photo of it, just a photo of the manual)? Also, CF rules require you to post an asking price. (not my rules). If you do have an AP20 control head, I will buy it (to keep as a spare for my antique system) if the price is right.

OK on the listing. $50 each electronic item OBO and buyer pays shipping. Paper goes along unless someone really needs it.

No AP20 controller. The sun had its way with the LCD. I saw a few on EBAY.

The old AP computer was incompatible with the new Simrad pilot.

I might be able to help you with that. I have the following components available, removed in 100% working order from my boat for upgrade in the past 90 days:


-Simrad / Robertson J300X-40 computer

-Simrad AP20 Head

-Simrad AP22 Head w/ cover
-Simrad RCF35 Compass

I'm definitely interested in the 2 control heads as spares. I have an AP20 inside and an AP22 outside.

Please post prices!

Actually, AlyeskaMaritime, you may be better off by posting this as a separate thread on its own, I think it would be better for the OP also that way.

Pretty sure I did in a reply.

Now reduced

$25 US plus shipping for the lot. The rate compass was spare on board when we bought the boat. The original is buried under a fiberglass & 5200 glued in place pod where it will remain. The AP computer was removed by me in an upgrade to a modern system following a lightening strike. I believe it to be working and that the keypad & LCD input pad was damaged. The LCD was faded beyond use making it functionality useless. I decommissioned the lot and tossed the keypad unit.
