Looking for Hydrovane self steering unit around the Chesapeake Bay

I have one i'm willing to part with. It is on a 46 foot amel. It is from a 2012 model

Cant' help but wonder if a wind vane will work with all the hardware on the back of your yacht.

My search for a vane is on hold until I have the funds available.

Pete, we're completely rebuilding our boat and the transom no longer looks like that.
That was the contraption of the previous owner. I like simple and am not a fan of davits at all.
