[SOLD] ICOM 710RT SSB Radio - $300 - Rockport TX

I am heading to Rockport TX soon. Today is: 01/10/2022. I am not willing to ship. $300 cash. In person purchase and pickup only. I will for sure be in Rockport TX during the month of February. Perhaps a little longer. If you are serious, I can take the SSB radio with me.


This SSB is an ICOM 710RT with an AT-130 antenna tuner. The “RT” means it has a remote controller/head. I removed it from our bluewater sailboat after it was totaled in Hurricane Harvey and have decided not to install it in our coastal cruiser.
I tested it two or three years ago (dummy load, SWR, and a long wire antenna). The radio and tuner were working at that time. Not willing to go through that process again. I have advertised here in the past and posted photos.

Bless you. However, I do not want to build a box and deal with shipping it. I have gotten rid of my woodworking tools and replaced them with a home machine shop. Sawdust is not a good mix for machines with oily surfaces.

I just learned from my wife that we are leaving for Rockport this coming Sunday morning. It is not likely that I will make room for the tub containing the radio, tuner, and other parts unless someone is seriously interested in picking it up in Rockport TX.

If you have not made a sale by Saturday and decide to not take the radio and tuner and accessories to Rockport, when will you be returning to wherever you are now and where is that?

The radio is with me in Rockport TX. Attached is a selfy of me with the Rockport newspaper. I tried rotating the photo and it still shows up upside down. Hope this helps.
