I have been having a lot of questions about the dimensions. They were all in the link. But here is the info copy/pasted from west marine:


For larger boxes, this system features a large evaporator plate driven by a dependable, air-cooled Danfoss BD50 compressor. A variety of box sizes and shapes are accommodated by the large flat evaporator that can be easily bent to fit the inside dimensions of the box, and it can refrigerate a box up to 14cu.ft. or freeze a box up to 4.7cu.ft. Air-cooled systems for smaller boxes are available by special order.

This is pretty fun. I’m going to list all my stuff with this format. I have a ton of marine stuff getting ready to go. A lot of it unused. All of it higher quality stuff.

eBay had this right. And it’s better because I don’t have set some price that might be arbitrarily too high. Let the market decide the price.

Have fitted many of these units ,the plate is easily shaped to fit most boxes ,the compressors has quick connect fittings ,carefully follow instructions when connecting,verry good units ,have had one running now for over 20 yrs ,just check gas charge every couple of years .⛵️⚓️

Do they come with a port for servicing/adding gas, or does that need to be added?

I believe this model has a valve fo gassing on top of the compressor,check pictures ⚓️⛵️

The little stub on top of the compressor, with the green heat shrink is the low side service valve.

You have the dimensions above. So whatever you plug into the shipping calculator is approximately what it will be. Plus whatever boxes and however much they charge for packing it up. UPS is the only thing I can do it from the remote location I’m at. So use that.

I will offer $650. It's a bit early for me, but in a few months, I hope to begin my icebox rebuild and this is the unit I had been considering.
