I’d like to buy a used Katadyn 35 water maker. I’m in Georgia, USA. Anyone? Anyone? It’s for the ditch bag for our life raft.

This one seems high priced with an original (2006) membrane. You might get lucky and the original membrane will test out fine, but a replacement membrane kit from Katydyn is >$400. I don't know of a replacement from another company which would be cheaper for this nice unit. Have found these cheaper and would expect to replace the membrane if you want it to work correctly if this is your main source of fresh water in an emergency.

My powersurvivor35 has a 20 year old membrane properly pickled and tested go annually and still putting out good water to this day. It all depends on maintenance .
