This 23 inch Bronze Luke feathering prop is unused and in as new condition.

This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship Made in Maine, USA that retails at $4625.

The helical twist to the blades give true pitch, making the propeller more efficient under power than a flat bladed feathering propeller and because of the twist, is incredibly effective in reverse.

The bore is 1.5" with a taper angle of 1:16 ending in 1.0625"

Right Hand rotation

Do I recall correctly that these props hang off of a special coaxial shaft? And does the shaft come with it? And if not, rough price to acquire one?

Hey Jim,

No they do not require any special type of shaft its just like any other feathering prop apart from the fact that they have true pitch with a curve across the blade. The shaft diameter is tapered but I wouldnt consider that anything special. Many props require a taper in the shaft which is easily machined by your local machine shop.

This Prop is unused - like new, greased and ready to be installed.

Understood! I was confusing this with a variable pitch prop... some of those do require a special shaft to accomplish the pitch changes.

This sounds like a good deal for someone who needs a big prop like this one.
