Marine Air Reverse Cycle Heat and Air Conditioning Unit

I have recently removed this unit from my Morgan 383 as our style of cruising does not warrant this equipment. The unit functions well and is in good condition. It comes with all controls, hoses, filters and strainers as well as some duct work. Need to get this unit off my boat by December 3rd. It is available at Riverside Marina in Ft Pierce Florida.

I am open to reasonable offers.

Re: Marine Air Reverse Cycle Heat and Air Conditioning Unit

Do you have the model information about the unit? How many BTUs does it output? I need to replace the aft cabin AC unit on my M462 - we Morgan owners need to stick together ;-). Do you know Skip and Saskia Fuller? They have their M462 Molly on the hard at Riverside too...

Far as I can tell it's a Dometic 16000 BTU. I have the manuals for it as well but they're on the boat and I won't be able to get there till mid next week. (I'm still in Winnipeg).
Forgot to mention the system pump is also included.

Don't know Skip and Saskia, but will look them up when I'm in Ft Pierce.

Perhaps I can drive up to meet you and take a look after you get down from Winnipeg. I'll PM you with my contact info.

For what it's worth, I have the 12,000 BTU model and they are quite effective down to about 5C water temperatures at both cooling and heating. Be aware that they drip due to the condensation of the water and some (like me with a metal boat) prefer to plumb that over the side rather than into the bilge.

My boat has two 16k BTU units but one is dead, hence the interest in a replacement. The functional unit works great, so hoping to find a comparable one.
