Re: Char Lynn Hydraulic Helm Steering column - 3/4" Tapered shaft

$165

This is Char Lynn steering column for helm pump

This 204-1001-007 column comes with keyed and tapered shaft

3.26" from the clamping plate to end of bearing housing

For use with most common Char Lynn, Sauer-Danfoss, and other aftermarket brand steering valves. Has the following dimensional specs:

Tapered shaft w/3/16″ key, (Eaton DN style) with .790″ taper start diameter

3/4″-16 UNF thread

Overall height 4.50″ not including shaft extension from bottom into steering valve

Length from mounting tabs on base to top of outer tube jacket 2.50″

Length of shaft extension 2.25″ from end of threads to top of outer tube jacket

Base plate 3.27″ square, has bolt holes on 3.25″ bolt circle that will accept 3/8″ or M10 bolts

Standard .800 O.D. 12 flat root splines for steering column connection

this is multi-fit

refer to attached sketch with bolt hole centres

used in marine application as it has 3/4" taper shaft for steering wheel and not straight shaft for inductrial application

Had this as spare for a few years, getting difficult to but and pricey, usually A$350

This is in excel cond, a little surface pitting aroung top due to salt water spray however wont affect operation

this will also fit Danfoss helm

was going to use it, however retrofiting hydraulic helm into another boat and need a longer steering column

just forked out $450 for new one slightly longer

can post australian wide $10

Light weight < 3kg

the helm pump is NOT included and just shows fitament
