Need Boat Slip Near Clear Lake

Mature couple, first boat, boat "found us" unexpectedly and we urgently need economical boat slip to accommodate 33" yacht, 5' draft, on or near Clear Lake. NOT live-aboard but need water and electric to maintain yacht. Would like to pay $100 month plus electricity/water Please advise ASAP - thanks so much.

Re: Need Boat Slip Near Clear Lake

I rented a slip in the cheapest marina in clear lake for $100/ Month... in 1990. Good Luck.

Re: Need Boat Slip Near Clear Lake

Blue Dolphin Marina was my choice 2 years ago. They are less expensive because they have fewer amenities (more than twice your budget of $100/mo). Fixed finger piers. Nothing fancy. Clean bathrooms. They require you to have liability insurance. A few live-aboards there. Generally, a friendly lot - kinda salty. I've had no problems there. For an additional small fee, I stored my enclosed trailer in their fenced lot Nov-Jun to temporarily store cushions, sails, etc., while doing minor boat maintenance. I had to move the trailer inland during hurricane season per agreement.
