Need place to leave 45 ft. sailboat Nov-Feb on ICW

We are moving our sailboat from the Great Lakes to Florida and will be needing to leave it half-way from mid November to mid February. So far we have enjoyed New England and Maine this past summer.

Are there any apps or better ways to find a fairly safe place to leave our 45 ft. sailboat (5 ft. draft, 60 ft. mast) for a few months. We do not need power.

Anywhere from the Chesapeake to mid North Carolina would work.

These people will be busy hauling out boats, but they are thorough. We had our boat prepped for shipping to California 2 years ago.

You will find plenty of potential options on ActiveCaptain. Unfortunately we have never had much success gathering actual pricing and availability information any way than making phone calls.

There are a lot of inexpensive spots in North Carolina. We have used Albemarle Plantation and New Bern Grand Marina before.

If hauling and budget matters, the New Bern to Washington area is gonna be CHEAP. McCotters in Washington, Hurricane in Bayboro probably are the cheapest. Duck Creek in New Bern, probably the next cheapest and a bit closer to "things" but still in the middle of nowhere. Oriental, NC has several, but a bit higher. Wayfarers Cove is another option. Are you planning to do work or have work done on her while she is hauled? Hurricane is the most "DIY" friendly probably, BUT you kind of need a car there.

TJ's Marina & Boatyard in Belhaven, N.C. Hauled a 44' cat out there a few months ago for storm season. Very competitive rates, nice people, a small family-owned place. They just bought it about a year and a half ago and they're making tons of improvements -- it looks great. Someone else mentioned Deltaville boatyard, I've also been there and was pleased with the operation, but they couldn't promise a spot and we were pushed for time due to the Owner's work schedule.
