[SOLD] New Hydrovane For Sale

Howdy Folks,

We purchased a brand new 2017 model Hydrovane 2 months ago L-5 Shaft H and E Brackets with STUBBY Vane. Unfortunately we where unable to make it work with the amount of gear we have on our transom, seats, arch, davits and solar panels. So our loss is your gain.

The backets and shaft have been mounted but never actually used due to the clearance issues. So I remove it all and cleaned up the brackets (like new condition) and we're going to sell then, since Hydrovane doesn't do returns. We paid $5k 2 months ago and will let it go for $4k + shipping.

This is a fantastic bit of gear and I'm absolutely sick we can't make it work, but we can't so here's your chance for a new model with the larger rudder and everything you need to get out there and start steering with no power requirement.

It's still available but I'm not sure how to go about estimating shipping something so large and heavy from Texas to Norway. Sounds cost prohibitive to me.

Yes it's still available. I'm away from the boat this weekend (rare occasion) but will be glad to grab some pictures when I'm back next week.

I've had several requests for pictures, so here they are.

The blue tape on the brackets is just there to hold the plastic shaft sleeves in place on the brackets. There is no damage or wear, the tape is just ensuring they don't get lost.
