New, NOS Volvo Penta MD11D 1983 never installed. Damage by the right rear mount, would not effect saildrive installation. Will sell without the gear for $5,500. Located Long Island New York willing to deliver for a fair fee.

Hi, thanks for looking. The engine was purchased by a Greek gentlemen who hoped to bring it to Greece, which unfortunately never happen, and now his kids put it up for sale. There are many engines most purchased for projects that lie around for years in people's garage's / shop's. This engine is one of the last simple, durable small diesel engines that could last 30.000-40,000 hours without major repair. I do not use this tag often but i think it can be applied here " they don't make them like that any more". I sure if it was for sale in England and many other parts of the world I would have a line of people to buy it. It is a joy to look at, you could buy it and start a Museum. These and the MD11C I sure were in many Baltic Yachts. Thanks again, John

yes it was, i had a baltic 37 and that was the original engine. good luck with the sale.
