Perkins 4.108 cores

What is a "core"? A rebuild-able engine. That is block, head, crankshaft, con rods, cam, oil pump, high pressure fuel injection pump & ancillary parts.

I take them apart, check specs., replace cylinder liners, pistons, rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, valves, valve springs, rebuild test and calibrate fuel injectors, etc.

Ma Perkins built over 500,000 of these great engines and a few were used in sailboats. Properly cared for, oil changes, proper cooling etc., they will last over 10,000 hours in your boat. The "average" American boat owner uses his boat 97 hours each year. SO ...?
