Power supply for an Engel 35 liter fridge

Hi

Would anyone have a used power supply for an Engel Fridge. A new one is nearly $600 to be shipped to Canada. I would like to get it working again but $600 is a lot to spend on the fridge even though the interior and exterior are in good condition.

One of the circuit boards in the supply is fried.

Has anyone had the circuit boards repaired or replaced. If you have could you send me the info on who did it for you.

The part number for the power supply is 1601-168.

Is it worth spending $600 to get it working again?

Thanks

Thanks
Why not get a new fridge?
I just bought a 50L Alpicool for $350CAD from Amazon.
Given that the Engel is around $1,200, would it last 3 times longer?

Thanks, i have considered that. I don"t like throwing out, what is a fridge in good condition otherwise, so i am in no rush to find a power supply. If i don't find one then i guess it will go in the trash.

Some of these ones on Amazon have not been around long so we have no idea how long they will last.

It appears that it isn't just a "power supply" but a system controller.

Our Alpicools been running full time and trouble free for almost 5 years. Also owned a few Engels and honestly we prefer the Alpicool.

Yes that is correct, there are 2 circuit boards inside the power supply.

Still looking for a power supply as the one i sent for repair was totally shot and could not be repaired.
The part number of the power supply i am looking for is 1601-168-1 it is for a 35 liter Engel or Norcold portable fridge.
