ProFurl plastic locking pin

"E" in this diagram

PN 50092
No longer available from Wichard/ProFurl, and one of mine fell out.

They still sell stainless steel versions for $280, but I'd prefer the $10 plastic if anyone has extra(s) they don't mind parting with.

I machined a couple for myself… not difficult to make. Find a machinist to ma a few.

Re: ProFurl plastic locking pin

I could make a nice part at home, but I'm out in the wild and here's what I made up for emergency use:

I'm guessing more $ to have someone else make, but it's an option if nobody has spares.

Re: ProFurl plastic locking pin

Following up, had these 3D printed by Xometry because I wanted a slightly different size anyway. $19 each

Process: HP Multi Jet Fusion (HP MJF)
Material: Nylon 12, Gray (Natural)
Color: As Printed, Gray (Natural)
Inspection: Standard Inspection
Finishing: Vapor Smoothing

Posting settings because there are so many choices in printing these days, and I am happy with these ones for light duty boat parts that other plastics work for.

Nice!

I need to remember that I actually OWN a 3D printer and can print these kind of things instead of firing up the lathe/mill/whatever. My brain is firmly stuck in "old school" mode.

Re: ProFurl plastic locking pin

Hi Tim, sorry for the delayed reply- I do not have the file handy, but it wouldn't do you much good anyway, as I designed it to fit a customized C350 and would not work for a normal C350.
